A recent news article by the BBC has highlighted the growing concern that many school pupils are having to learn in classrooms were temperatures are exceeding 30 degrees, which in turn is having an adverse effect on their learning capabilities.

The main problem highlighted was insufficient protection given to large glazed areas which many new build schools now incorporate.

At Glasstint we can offer a cost effective solution through the installation of one of our solar control and glare reduction window films.

These films can deflect up to 80% of the sun’s heat and reduce glare without shutting out the view and daylight. Air conditioning costs can also be reduced and educational performance and comfort increased.

Our solar control & glare reduction films also have many other benefits:

  • Solar Glare Reduction.  Less eye strain.
  • Can help to meet Current Health and Safety guidelines as regards comfortable temperatures within a lecture room.
  • Financial and Environmental benefits.
  • Increased Safety and Security.
  • Improved building aesthetics.
  • Installations are carried out by trained personnel with minimum disruption.
